Today was the day that Grandmother Koze's glass was lost. It was the bird glass that I had my milk in for 40 years. It was one thing that always made me think of her. I was surprised how much I miss it. It was the kids in the china cabinet fighting for a glass to put pudding in. They bumped the glass off the shelf and it hit just right and broke. It could have hit the carpet or anything from the way it fell. I had hoped to pass this glass on to the kids or my grand kids when I was older. Now it will not be. We tried to melt the edges to save what we could but the glass was too brittle. I do hope that this was a learning experence for the kids and some good can come out of it. We will see . . . I am definitely not holding my breath. You love your kids more than anything. You just do not understand what drives them.
